The Year and the Morning After, girls

The Morning After Girls are really very good. Sydney band you've probably heard of before: they sound like early dandys and the brian jonestown massacre. Here are two songs:

And for blogging sake: what was the 5 best tracks, 5 best albums and 5 best films of 2005.2005 has also been a year of bust-ups; Jack White finally divorced Meg and married a Scarlett woman, Nick and Jessica broke, Julian Casablancas separated with the bottle to be with his employer and Paris left Paris. Who will get together and fail in 2006? Condeleeza Rice and Samuel L Jackson?, Bob Dylan and Shania Twain?, Tony Abbott and George Pell?
I can't think of mine yet, so i will include them in the comments.
Love and Merry Christmas, Dave.
